NewsCurrents is a weekly current events discussion program. NewsCurrents uses an interactive, multisensory discussion format that concentrates your students' attention and encourages them to think and talk about important issues.

Each issue contains national and international news stories, plus a Who Am I? feature, Country of the Week, This Week in History, and a Student Editorial Cartoon of the week.

The NewsCurrent subscription is every week for 34 weeks (September-May). Includes a weekly printed teacher's guide and DVD mailed to you.

The teacher's discussion guide contains the narrative with background information and discussion questions that correspond with the DVD image disc. The guide also contains review quizzes on three learning levels, and reproducible student activities.
